Our Community Needs Our Help
The Need
The Metrocrest community has seen a staggering need for social services, in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as other economic disparities that existed pre-COVID. Families just like Cristal’s have been most significantly impacted and depend on Metrocrest Services more than ever before – and some for the first time. Although Metrocrest was operating at full capacity before the pandemic, the crucial role it plays in our community has been made even more evident. With inadequate space for increased staff support and expanded programs, Metrocrest is at risk of not meeting elevated levels of need into the future.

COVID-19 IMPACT
The COVID-19 pandemic has stretched the Metrocrest staff and facility in ways that could not have been imagined and changed the way we operate. But one thing never changed: we helped every single neighbor who reached out for help.
Meeting the Needs of Our Community
After celebrating its 50th anniversary year, Metrocrest Services and its Board of Directors are focused on the next 50 years. Looking toward the future, Metrocrest has embarked on a $15,800,000 Building Our Future capital campaign with plans to increase capacity and improve services and programs through the construction of a new facility.
